Quang Nam: Sand mines continue to be auctioned at dozens of times higher than the starting price.

On June 26, the leader of Duy Xuyen District People's Committee ( Quang Nam ) confirmed that Hoa Thuan Joint Stock Auction Company had just organized an auction for the right to exploit minerals for common construction materials at DX6B sand mine (Phu Bong village, Duy Trinh commune, Duy Xuyen district).

Accordingly, the DX6B sand mine has a reserve of 197,000 m3, with a starting price of 1.8 billion VND. After 11 rounds of bidding, Han Hien Hau Trading and Service Company Limited (located in My An village, Dai Quang commune, Dai Loc district, Quang Nam) won the auction for the exploitation rights at this mine with a price of up to more than 138 billion VND, 77 times higher than the starting price.

This is the price for exploitation rights, not including taxes and fees such as resource tax, environmental protection fee, environmental restoration deposit, VAT, corporate income tax, etc.

According to the conversion, each cubic meter costs up to 702,000 VND, which is the price for granting exploitation rights. This is considered an unusually high price compared to the current state-regulated price.

Previously, on June 19, the People's Committee of Dai Loc district organized an auction for the right to exploit 3 sand mines in the area. The results of the auctions of the 3 sand mines surprised many people with the winning bids being dozens of times higher than the starting price.

Specifically, the DL2 common construction material sand mine in Giang Hoa village (Dai Thang commune, Dai Loc district) has an estimated reserve of about 790,000m3, with a starting price of more than 7.59 billion VND, and was bid up to more than 491.7 billion VND.

The mine exploiting sand as common construction materials DL11 Ha Nha village - Vinh Phuoc (Dai Dong commune, Dai Loc district) has an estimated reserve of about 360,000 m3, with a starting price of more than 3.46 billion VND, and was bid up to nearly 320 billion VND.

The mineral mines of sand and gravel for common construction materials DL12B1 Truong An village and DL12B1 Phu Huong village (Dai Quang commune, Dai Loc district) have been explored, evaluated and approved with reserves of more than 166,000m3, with a starting price of more than 1.23 billion VND, and the winning bid price of more than 129.6 billion VND.
