Quang Ninh revenue of nearly 800 billion VND in 3 days of holiday

During the 3-day holiday (from August 30 to September 1), Quang Ninh is one of the favorite destinations for domestic and international tourists thanks to its beautiful landscape and synchronous tourism infrastructure.

To ensure service quality as well as bring memorable experiences to tourists, units and businesses have added more human resources, introduced some attractive combos with preferential prices. On September 1, the total number of tourists in Quang Ninh province is estimated at 72,000, equal to 76% compared to the same period in 2024; of which international visitors are 15,000, domestic visitors are about 57,000. Overnight visitors are estimated at 32,500, equal to 78% compared to the same period in 2024 (of which 16,700 are domestic visitors, 13,800 are international visitors). Total tourism revenue is estimated at 198 billion VND, equal to 91% compared to the same period in 2024.

The total number of tourists during the 3-day holiday reached 283,000, equal to 74% compared to the same period in 2024; of which international visitors were 47,800; overnight guests reached 113,900, equal to 76% compared to the same period in 2024. Total tourism revenue reached 778 billion, equal to 91% compared to the same period in 2024.

In order to serve tourists attentively during the holidays as well as enhance the image of Quang Ninh tourism brand, the authorities require service businesses to strictly comply with public price posting and selling at the listed price, strictly prohibiting fraudulent and profiteering behaviors. Localities should step up propaganda on civilized behavior at destinations, set up hotlines to promptly provide information and resolve complaints from tourists.

Through assessment, up to now, tourism service activities in the province are still stable, ensuring service quality and business environment, no arising or complicated problems have been detected.
