The inspection focused on leadership and guidance in implementing the Law on Civil Defense and its implementing guidelines; force building; planning and response strategies for incidents and natural disasters; ensuring material and equipment supplies; information dissemination; and coordination among forces in carrying out civil defense tasks.

In the localities, the inspection team listened to reports on the results of task implementation; checked the system of documents, plans, and methods; and inspected the actual preparation of materials, equipment, personnel, and the readiness to handle incidents, natural disasters, and search and rescue operations.
Through inspections, the working group assessed that the Party committees, authorities, and Civil Defense Commands of the localities had seriously implemented the directives from higher levels; proactively developed plans and strategies for preventing and responding to incidents and natural disasters that were closely aligned with the specific characteristics of their areas. Coordination among forces has been gradually improved; and material and equipment for civil defense tasks have been adequately supplemented.

In his inspection remarks, Colonel Nguyen Ngoc Son commended the proactive and responsible spirit of the localities and units in carrying out civil defense tasks, responding to incidents and natural disasters, and search and rescue operations. He also requested that localities continue to review, supplement, and improve their planning and response systems; strengthen their forces; improve the quality of training and exercises; and enhance public awareness campaigns on disaster prevention and response skills.
In addition, proactively prepare sufficient materials and equipment to ensure readiness to effectively handle situations, avoiding passivity and surprises. The comrade also received suggestions and proposals from localities, which the Provincial Military Command (the Standing Agency of the Provincial Civil Defense Command) will compile and report to the Provincial People's Committee/Head of the Provincial Civil Defense Command as prescribed.
According to the plan, the inspection team will inspect all communes, wards, and special zones in the province.
