Multi- sport events including Aqua Warriors Quang Tri 2025 on August 2 and Quang Tri International Marathon 2025 - Camel Cup on August 3 organized by Dan Tri newspaper and Bolt Event.
On the morning of August 3, the Quang Tri International Marathon - Camel Cup took place at Nhat Le beach. All athletes in 4 distances started from Ho Chi Minh Square, through routes such as Hung Vuong, Nguyen Trai, Quach Xuan Ky... in Dong Hoi ward.

The starting time of each race is from 3am to 5am, divided into time slots to ensure order and safety during the competition.
After a fierce competition, the champions in each category of 5km, 10km, 21km and 42km were determined. The first finisher in the 21km distance for men was Pham Ngoc Hoang. The athlete from Huong Khe, Ha Tinh took 1 hour 17 minutes 42 seconds.
Sharing after receiving the award, Ngoc Hoang said: “I am a doctor, living in Huong Khe, Ha Tinh. My family just had a small child so I only practice three times a week. This is one of the best achievements in my career.
I want to dedicate this award to my mother, wife and children. Although I am busy with work, I still try to practice, both to serve my passion and to have the health to do my job. Today's route is very beautiful, easy to compete, I did not get lost like some other tournaments."

Winning the 21km women's category was athlete Doan Thi Oanh with a time of 1 hour 26 minutes 29 seconds. She is currently a teacher at Xuan Hoa High School, Xuan Hoa Ward, Phu Tho. She shared: "I am very happy to win the Top 1 position even though this is not the best achievement in the 21km distance. I thank the Organizing Committee for organizing this very interesting tournament where our athletes got to experience the beautiful road by the sea.
We runners are afraid of the hot sun of the central region, but today the weather is quite favorable so we finished the race better. To compete well in this tournament, I have to practice every day in the early morning or afternoon, but my training volume is maintained at about 60-70km per week to give my best when entering the main tournament."

In the 5km event, two athletes Tran Minh Quy and Nguyen Thi Hong Hanh were the first to cross the finish line in both the men's and women's categories. Minh Quy had a special feeling when winning the gold medal right on her home ground: "I have a special feeling when competing in this tournament for the first time. The organizers are very thoughtful, guiding and helping the athletes along the way. I have been training for 4 years and have participated in many tournaments. Recently, I just achieved a time of 16 minutes 38. This is a grand tournament, from the scale to the number of participating athletes".
Meanwhile, Hong Hanh, a bank employee from Hanoi, shared: “I focus on short distances of 21km or less because this is my forte. This is also the first time I tried my hand at the 5km distance and was lucky to win the championship.

The tournament in Quang Tri was very interesting with a beautiful route and cool weather in the morning. My mother and I came here to compete and also to travel for a summer vacation, a great combination and even happier when I achieved good results in two tournaments in two days."
It is known that yesterday, athlete Hong Hanh won the top 2 in the Sprint Aqua Warriors category. Her daughter, Nguyen Khue, also excellently won the championship in the Junior Aqua Warriors category. This was truly a successful tournament for the mother and daughter.
The first to finish in the men's 10km race was Le Trong Phu from Hue with a time of 36 minutes and 29 seconds. The 36-year-old athlete shared: "Since arriving here yesterday afternoon until now, I have felt extremely excited, the tournament is great, the organizers are thoughtful. I hope the organizers can maintain this race. I am not surprised to come first. I am an amateur athlete, maintain regular training and also win many races. My forte is the 5km and 10km races. Once again, thank you to the organizers for creating a healthy playground."

In the 10km women's race, Phung Thi Kim Anh finished first with a time of 46 minutes and 27 seconds. She could not hide her pride after becoming the champion: "I have won many tournaments, the last one was in Hue, but winning in my hometown is still very meaningful. I would like to thank my colleagues who supported me on duty today so that I could compete. Thank you to my family and friends who have always supported and encouraged me. I would also like to thank the organizing committee for organizing the tournament very professionally and methodically."
In addition, Kim Anh also revealed that the secret to winning is perseverance, daily practice and always keeping herself in the most comfortable state of mind.

Finally, in the most anticipated event, 42km (marathon), two athletes Tran Van Thap and Le Minh Tuan. In which, Van Thap excellently won first place in the 42km distance for men with a time of 2 hours 57 minutes 23 seconds. Le Minh Tuan won first place in the 42km distance for women with a time of 3 hours 16 minutes 44.
Sharing after winning the prize, Van Thap, a boy from Bac Ninh, said: “This is my second year competing in Quang Binh (old). Last year I was top 1 in my age group and top 4 overall. I came here hoping to defend this achievement but I didn’t expect to be top 1. I was so surprised and burst into happiness.
At first, I didn't set a goal of winning first place, so I just competed like a long run. After the first lap, I was in the top 3. At that time, my spirit was very high, so I decided to speed up and just like that, I overtook first place at Nhat Le Bridge for the second time and maintained it until the finish line. This year, the organizers designed the course to repeat two laps, so it was quite easy to compete. The weather this year was also more pleasant. This is not my best result, two minutes slower than my achievement in Hue last April."

Le Minh Tuan was the most emotional athlete in the tournament when she crawled to the finish line. She even had to seek medical attention after reaching the finish line. Sharing with Dan Tri, Le Minh Tuan broke down and said: “I thought I had to give up in the last 10km. In this race, I always lead the women's distance, but when I was more than 10km from the finish line, I didn't know if I had made the right or wrong decision to take off my shoes and run barefoot because my shoes were wet.
The track was full of gravel and gravel, which caused blisters on my feet afterwards. I didn’t feel tired running, but my injured feet were very painful, and I had to walk twice, and the thought of giving up crossed my mind. However, I was still quite far behind the second female runner, so I was determined to finish at all costs. Luckily, a male runner helped me along the way, so I could finish as I wished.

Winning this tournament almost made me want to cry with joy, with pride in overcoming such unexpected difficulties and obstacles on the track. I am a runner who runs by instinct, listening to my body rather than focusing too much on technique. Today, 3 hours 16 minutes is not the best result, but it is the best will in the tournaments I have participated in."
