Specifically, in just the past 10 days, in Huong Phung commune, there has been continuous heavy rain, causing 7 landslides on the West branch of Ho Chi Minh route through the Sa Mu pass area, 3 underground overflow locations were flooded, causing local isolation of the villages of Malay Pun, Phung Lam, and Cheng-Ma Lai.
At Phong Nguyen Wind Power Plant area in the old Tan Thanh commune, a slight landslide occurred at wind turbine number 12.

Deputy Political Commissar of Huong Phung Border Guard Station, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Van Bang, said that due to prolonged rain, a large amount of rock and soil from the hill had flowed onto the road, causing danger to people and vehicles, causing local traffic jams at some points.

Faced with the above situation, the unit has established a task force to be on duty in the above-mentioned vulnerable areas, placing signs and stringing up ropes to warn people not to pass through these areas. At the same time, it has increased propaganda to warn people not to fish in rivers and streams to ensure safety.
In addition, actively coordinate with local authorities and relevant forces to urgently deploy remedial measures.
Currently, it is still raining in the area, so the unit continues to assign local coordination forces to promptly receive people's feedback for handling.
