Forgetting the words of love - Poem by Nguyen Ngoc Hanh

Báo Thanh niênBáo Thanh niên28/01/2025

There are times when no one remembers anymore
The night goes by and the day fades away.
Who remembers the horizon or the corner of the sea?
Headwaters or the open sea

I just know I'm lost and alone
Like lightning in a stormy sky
How to forget a stormy time
How many misfortunes and fortunes bury human destiny

The moment of changing seasons reminds me of the distant past
Forget all the stormy days
Forget the whispering words of love in the sound of the waves
Sitting and thinking about it makes me feel more sorry for myself...

A lifetime of stumbling over vanity
What to remember, this is invisible fate
Rather just round up the sea of fate
Better than sitting and talking about ephemeral things

The night goes by and the day fades away.
Missing you vaguely, my shadow is an illusion
