The girl buried by a landslide in Xuan Truong - Da Lat is out of danger.

On November 20, Ms. Huynh Thi Phuong Duyen, Director of Lam Dong Department of Health, said: Baby girl TTD (born in 2018) - the victim buried by the landslide was taken to the Provincial General Hospital for emergency treatment on the evening of November 19. Up to now, the child has overcome the critical stage and is recovering well.

Upon admission, the child was seriously injured, with a broken left thigh, many soft tissue tears and dirty foreign objects. Lam Dong General Hospital activated the emergency rescue procedure and organized a hospital-wide consultation under the direct direction of the Department of Health and the hospital's Board of Directors.

Immediately after that, the medical team performing the emergency surgery performed a left thigh reattachment surgery, treated the soft tissue wound, removed foreign objects, sutured the severed muscle and controlled related injuries. The leader of the provincial Department of Health said that the girl's spirit was good, optimistic, courageous, not panicked, making it easy for the doctors and nurses to perform emergency treatment. Up to this point, her health has stabilized.

Previously, VNA reporters reported that at around 6:30 p.m. on November 19, a large amount of earth and rock collapsed onto the side of a level 4 house on an alley on Hung Vuong Street (near Da Chien Hill, Xuan Truong Ward - Da Lat, Lam Dong Province). At that time, the people in the house managed to escape, but an 8-year-old girl who was in the restroom was trapped in the rubble.

Immediately after the incident, the functional forces of Xuan Truong Ward - Da Lat together with the Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police (Lam Dong Provincial Police) were present to coordinate with the people to rescue the child.

After mobilizing more machinery and vehicles, at about 7:15 p.m. the same day, the authorities were able to bring the girl out safely. The child was taken to Lam Dong General Hospital for treatment.
