On the morning of January 29, at the National Assembly (NA), NA Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue attended a meeting with former NA leaders and former members of the NA Standing Committee organized by the 15th NA Standing Committee.

At the meeting, former leaders of the National Assembly, former members of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly, and retired full-time National Assembly deputies highly appreciated the 15th National Assembly for continuing to demonstrate the spirit of innovation in all aspects of its activities. The National Assembly Forum is increasingly close to voters and is highly appreciated by the majority of voters and people. The agencies of the National Assembly proactively coordinate smoothly with the Government for common goals, in line with domestic and international development trends.

Speaking at the meeting, NA Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue affirmed that the 15th NA continues to inherit and promote the glorious tradition of the Vietnamese NA over the past 78 years; at the same time, it constantly seeks to innovate, improve quality, effectiveness and efficiency, strives to increasingly promote democracy, rule of law, professionalism, transparency, closely following the "breath of life", and increasingly better meet the aspirations of voters and people.

The Chairman of the National Assembly also said that the quality of the National Assembly's activities depends on the coordination between the National Assembly Standing Committee, the Nationalities Council, the National Assembly's agencies with the President, the Government, the Supreme People's Procuracy, the Supreme People's Court, the State Audit, the Vietnam Fatherland Front and relevant organizations and agencies. Coordination has been maintained regularly and strengthened in recent times, especially between the National Assembly and the Government, in the spirit of sharing, listening to each other, and respecting each other to reach consensus, but issues related to principles and goals have been firmly maintained.

Providing more information about the preparation for the 80th anniversary of the General Election Day of the National Assembly of Vietnam (1946 - 2026), the Chairman of the National Assembly hopes that former leaders of the National Assembly and former members of the National Assembly Standing Committee will continue to contribute to the activities of the National Assembly, strengthen the role of the Former National Assembly Deputies Club... to help the National Assembly fulfill its responsibilities, worthy of the glorious tradition of the National Assembly, the trust and expectations of the Party, State and people.
