The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested units and localities to complete the handover of the North-South expressway before April 30.
According to the report of the Department of Transport at the meeting, currently, units and localities have issued decisions on compensation and support for site clearance reaching over 96% of the site of construction packages. Regarding resettlement areas, 7/26 areas have been completed, and 19/26 areas are under construction, averaging about 89% of the volume. Up to now, localities have completed and handed over to people 11/13 cemeteries. Regarding the relocation of medium-voltage and low-voltage power lines, telecommunication stations, etc., the People's Committees of the districts are currently constructing, averaging about 68% of the volume...
Localities show determination in site handover
Currently, there are still unresolved problems in dismantling the expansion works of some households; relocating telecommunications infrastructure; determining land use rights and land types; compensation and support plans related to agriculture , solar power points, etc.
At the meeting, representatives of units and localities focused on analyzing and discussing difficulties, problems and proposing solutions to resolutely carry out site clearance work in the coming time.
Speaking at the meeting, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested units and localities with the highest determination to focus resources on site clearance; meet sufficient payment costs; and develop specific construction protection plans. In addition to speeding up site clearance progress, he also directed localities to step up propaganda work, creating consensus among the people for the key national project of the North-South expressway; assigned the Provincial Police to grasp the situation to strictly handle, in accordance with the law, cases of violations, opposition, and obstruction.
