This is one of the activities within the framework of the Hanoi Convention Opening Ceremony taking place from October 25 to 26, 2025.
With the message “stay safe online together”; the program will take place from October 6 to November 30, 2025, hosted by the Digital Trust Alliance. The communication target is students, teenagers (aged 12 - 24); parents, officials, teachers, social community, press, KOLs, management agencies; social - professional organizations, international organizations.

In the digital age, children and adolescents are vulnerable to all forms of online seduction, fraud, manipulation and kidnapping. Many unfortunate incidents have occurred in recent times, creating an urgent need for a national communication campaign to raise social awareness about online safety, especially for students and adolescents.
The Hanoi Convention - The United Nations Convention against Cybercrime is an important document aimed at international and transnational efforts to combat cybercrime, including luring, fraud, “kidnapping”, and human trafficking targeting children and adolescents. This is the first international convention named after the capital city of Hanoi, affirming the prestige and international position of Vietnam. This is an important occasion for Vietnam to demonstrate its responsibility and pioneering role in online efforts to protect vulnerable groups, first and foremost children and adolescents.
The “Not Alone” campaign is led by the Digital Trust Alliance - a collaborative initiative connecting the community of influential people in cyberspace, an effort to accompany the Government , society and people in protecting vulnerable groups in cyberspace and contributing to affirming Vietnam's pioneering spirit in spreading the spirit of the Convention to all classes of people, first of all vulnerable groups.
The results of the Campaign will be a clear demonstration of a responsible Vietnam in global issues and contribute beautiful images to welcome international guests to Vietnam to attend the signing ceremony of the Hanoi Convention.
The program aims to raise awareness of the risks of luring, manipulation, fraud, "kidnapping", and human trafficking through cyberspace targeting children and adolescents; equip them with online safety skills, identify tricks, how to prevent, handle and report when encountering dangerous situations; spread the message "Online safety together" so that children and adolescents always remember that they are "not alone", not alone when facing luring, manipulating, fraud, "kidnapping" in cyberspace and to remind families, schools, online platforms and society to always accompany, protect, and not let children and adolescents face risks alone in cyberspace.
Within the framework of the campaign, the Organizing Committee will deploy a series of diverse activities, combining both online and offline activities to spread the message and raise public awareness. According to the plan, from October 6 to November 30, 2025, the communication campaign on cyberspace will be promoted with the participation of KOLs, digital platforms, press and media agencies. Various forms such as infographics, video clips, talk shows, livestreams, minigames, etc., will help students and parents identify online tricks of seduction and fraud. Within the framework of the campaign, there will be activities such as: A series of workshops and training sessions at schools to equip students, university students, and teenagers with digital safety skills; organizing training sessions at training facilities nationwide with the participation of KOLs, reporters, and local police officers; launching activities in response to the skits... The Online Safety Festival will take place on October 18-19 at Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square (Hanoi) with virtual reality experiences, simulating online seduction situations, participants choose how to respond... In particular, on October 25-26, 2025, within the framework of the Hanoi Convention Opening Ceremony, an international seminar will take place to promote cross-border cooperation in preventing and combating human trafficking targeting adolescents. At the Opening Ceremony, a video summarizing the campaign's activities will be screened at the official meeting, demonstrating Vietnam's responsibility and strong commitment to spreading the spirit of the Convention to all classes of people, especially vulnerable groups (adolescents, ethnic minority areas, remote areas, etc.). |
