Dak Ta Ley commune has 1,013 households with 4,296 people. The proportion of ethnic minorities accounts for 50%, life is still difficult, legal awareness is limited, easily taken advantage of by bad people, lured, enticed to participate in criminal activities and law violations. In addition, some teenagers often have illegal behaviors such as: after drinking alcohol, driving, revving, weaving, not wearing helmets, carrying more people than prescribed; quarreling and fighting; petty theft... causing disorder in the locality.
Faced with that situation, the Commune Police proposed that the Commune People's Committee establish a "Security Camera" model to monitor the security and order situation in the area. The model initially invested in installing 9 cameras at the main roads and key areas with complex security and order issues in the commune.
The members of the Executive Board of the “Security Camera” model are responsible for managing and monitoring the installed equipment, exploiting and using it, and evaluating the effectiveness of the model. Thereby, promptly grasping the situation and recording images of the methods and tricks of various subjects, helping authorities investigate and handle crimes, contributing to ensuring security and order in the area.
