Launching the "Community Digital Marketplace"

On the afternoon of October 31st, the People's Committee and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nguyen Phich commune, in coordination with Viettel Ca Mau, launched the emulation movement "Innovation and Digital Transformation," and also inaugurated the "Community Digital Market."

The first digital market

This activity aims to concretize the goals set by Nguyen Phich commune by the end of 2025: 80% of residents and business households using cashless payments; 100% of organizations and individuals making online payments for public services; and 30% of residents accessing community digital signature authentication services.

At the conference, the three parties signed and agreed on many important contents aimed at the goal of comprehensive digital transformation in rural areas. Specifically, the People's Committee of Nguyen Phich commune is responsible for directing, managing, planning, and organizing implementation, as well as establishing the Commune's Digital Transformation Steering Committee, community digital technology teams in each hamlet, and launching the "Community Digital Market" model.

The People's Committee of Nguyen Phich commune, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nguyen Phich commune, and Viettel Ca Mau performed the signing ceremony for digital transformation.

The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nguyen Phich commune plays a coordinating role in disseminating information and organizing communication activities, seminars, festivals, and digital markets, aiming to spread awareness and create consensus among the people regarding digital transformation.

Mr. Do Hoang Do, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Nguyen Phich commune, expressed his hope that Viettel Ca Mau would bring the most advanced technological solutions to help the commune achieve its comprehensive digital transformation goals.

On its part, Viettel Ca Mau committed to cooperating with the local government to deploy telecommunications infrastructure, provide technical and digital technology solutions suitable to the actual conditions, and simultaneously provide internet services, e-commerce, and digital transformation solutions for agriculture, ensuring safety, stability, and convenience for the people.

Mr. Pham Van Phuc, Deputy Director of Corporate Customer Services at Viettel Ca Mau, pledged to provide telecommunications, internet services, and digital transformation solutions for agriculture and e-commerce to the people of Nguyen Phich commune.

On this occasion, the People's Committee of Nguyen Phich commune inaugurated the "Community Digital Market" at the Commune's Public Administrative Service Center. The market brings together 31 specialty products, characteristic products, and OCOP (One Commune One Product) products from the area. This model helps people, especially small traders and farmers, become familiar with and apply smartphones, use electronic payment platforms and e-commerce, and gradually keep pace with the trend of digital development.
