Launching the 2025 Agricultural and Rural Census

DTO - Recently, in My Qui commune, the Steering Committee for the 2025 Rural and Agricultural Census of Dong Thap province held a ceremony to launch phase 2 of the survey and collect information. Attending the ceremony were representatives of the Central Statistics Office, the Provincial Statistics Office, local leaders and investigators.

With the slogan “All people actively respond to the 2025 Rural and Agricultural Census”, the survey will be carried out for 30 days, starting from July 1, 2025. This is one of the three largest national statistical censuses held every 10 years, aiming to collect comprehensive information on the fields of agriculture, forestry, fisheries and the current status of rural development.

Speaking at the ceremony, the representative of the Central Statistics Office said the significance and important role of the Census, and requested the Provincial Steering Committee and investigators to strictly implement the procedures, especially complying with the "5 rights": going to the right household, meeting the right person in charge, asking the right questions, filling in the right information and completing on schedule.

Immediately after the launching ceremony, investigators began collecting information from households in My Qui commune.
