Muong Hum farmers earn 1.8 billion VND from Tai Nung pears

This year, Tai Nung pears grown in Muong Hum commune had a good harvest, with an increase of about 10 tons compared to last year, bringing in about 1.8 billion VND in revenue for the people.

This year the weather is favorable, with good care, Tai Nung pears bear more fruit than last year.

According to information from the People's Committee of Muong Hum commune, up to this point, people in the commune have finished harvesting the Tai Nung pear crop in 2025.

This year, Muong Hum commune has 171 hectares of Tai Nung pears, of which about 60 hectares are yielding fruit, concentrated in the villages of Kin Chu Phi 1, Kin Chu Phin 2 and Ki Quan San.

This year, due to favorable weather and proper care, Tai Nung pears in Muong Hum had a good harvest. The total pear output of the whole commune reached about 60 tons, an increase of about 10 tons compared to last year.

With an average selling price of 30,000 VND/kg, Muong Hum people earned about 1.8 billion VND from Tai Nung pears. Although the price was not as good as last year, due to the good harvest, high productivity and output, the income from pear trees of Muong Hum people was still basically stable.
