Launching communication campaigns to mobilize people to participate in voluntary social insurance and family health insurance.

Responding to the Month of mobilizing and implementing Social Insurance (SI) for all people, on May 7, in Viet Tri city, the provincial Social Insurance organized a launching ceremony to communicate and mobilize people to participate in voluntary social insurance and family health insurance.

The collective leadership, cadres, civil servants and employees of the provincial Social Insurance showed their determination on the launching day.

The program is simultaneously implemented at 12 Social Insurance Districts and Towns across the province with mobile propaganda teams parading on streets, communes, and towns and focusing on organizing propaganda conferences in small groups to directly mobilize people to participate in voluntary social insurance and family health insurance.

With the peak propaganda activities, the Social Insurance aims that during and immediately after the launching ceremony, each district will mobilize at least 20 people to participate in voluntary social insurance, 30 people to participate in health insurance; the whole province will exploit and develop 260 people to participate in voluntary social insurance, 390 people to participate in health insurance, contributing to completing the 2024 plan target.

Through the campaign, it helps people and workers clearly understand the rights and benefits of participating in social insurance on the basis of correct, complete and profound awareness of the Party's policies and the State's laws on social insurance, thereby creating a widespread influence for people to proactively participate.

Social insurance and health insurance are major and important policies that the Party and the State pay special attention to. On September 29, 2021, the Standing Committee of Phu Tho Provincial Party Committee issued Resolution 60-NQ/TU on implementing social insurance, health insurance and unemployment insurance policies in the province for the period 2021 - 2025, accordingly, the province strives to have 45% of the workforce participating in social insurance and over 94% of the population participating in health insurance by the end of 2025.
