Real Madrid part ways with a third player.

Following Luka Modric and Lucas Vazquez, Jesus Vallejo has also left Real Madrid after his contract expired.

Vallejo left Real after a decade.

"Real Madrid announces that Jesus Vallejo has ended his time playing for Real Madrid. He spent five seasons with the club. During this time, Vallejo won two Champions League titles, four FIFA Club World Cups, three UEFA Super Cups, one La Liga title, one Copa del Rey, and two Spanish Super Cups," Real Madrid announced.

"At the Spanish national team level, Valledjo won a silver medal at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics and is a European champion at the U21 and U19 levels," the Spanish club added.

Finally, Real thanked Vallejo for his professionalism and dedication, and wished the 1997-born player success in the next chapter of his career.

Vallejo joined Real Madrid from Real Zaragoza for €5 million in the summer of 2015. However, he was never trusted by the "Los Blancos" coaches. The Spanish player was frequently sent out on loan (to Eintracht Frankfurt, Wolves, Granada) but failed to make much of an impact.

In his final season at Real (2024/25), Vallejo only started one La Liga match, as his defenders were all injured. Real had long wanted to offload the 28-year-old, but no club contacted him.
