Real say goodbye to third player

After Luka Modric and Lucas Vazquez, it was Jesus Vallejo's turn to leave Real after his contract expired.

"Real Madrid announce that Jesus Vallejo has ended his time at Real Madrid. He spent five seasons at Real. During this time, Vellejo won two Champions Leagues, four FIFA Club World Cups, three European Super Cups, one La Liga title, one Copa del Rey and two Spanish Super Cups," Real Madrid announced.

"At the Spanish national team level, Valledjo won a silver medal at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics and is a European champion at U21 and U19 level," the Royal Spanish team added.

Finally, Real thanked Vallejo for his professionalism and dedication, and wished the 1997-born player success in the next chapter of his career.

Vallejo joined Real from Real Zaragoza for 5 million euros in the summer of 2015. However, he was never trusted by the "Los Blancos" coaches. The Spaniard was often sent out on loan (Eintracht Frankfurt, Wolves, Granada) but did not leave much of an impression.

In his final season at Real (2024/25), Vallejo only started 1 match in La Liga, when his colleagues in defense were all injured. Real have long wanted to sell the 28-year-old player but no team has contacted him.
