Bustling before the special opening ceremony

The 2025-2026 school year is the first year that teachers and students across the country will attend the opening ceremony at the same time, salute the flag and sing the National Anthem, and watch the special opening ceremony live from Hanoi via live television.

From early morning of September 5, students everywhere were bustling to school to attend the opening ceremony, welcoming the new school year. SGGP reporters were present in many localities across the country to record the atmosphere of the first special "2 in 1" opening ceremony of the education sector.

Information from the Ministry of Education and Training said that about 1.7 million teachers and nearly 30 million students nationwide attended this special opening ceremony.
