Springtime in the barracks

In the days leading up to the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026, amidst the festive atmosphere in every home, officers and soldiers of the armed forces units in Ca Mau province are actively tidying up their barracks, creating a neat, orderly, and cheerful environment to welcome the spring with the determination to excellently fulfill their duties in the new year.

At the headquarters of the Ca Mau Provincial Military Command, flags, banners, and slogans were arranged harmoniously and prominently, while still maintaining a solemn atmosphere, reflecting the enthusiastic spirit of emulation and determination to win.

During the spring season, the altar dedicated to President Ho Chi Minh is placed in a prominent position, adorned with vibrant fresh flowers.

Under the close leadership and guidance of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Military Command , the Party committees and commanders of agencies and units have proactively developed plans and assigned specific tasks to each department and individual.

Officers and soldiers demonstrated a strong sense of responsibility, organizing barracks sanitation, caring for greenery, reinforcing the bulletin board system and propaganda slogans, and building a bright, green, clean, and beautiful environment. Each task was linked to the requirements of establishing regular order, training discipline, and improving combat readiness.

The space for welcoming the Lunar New Year was solemnly decorated with fresh flowers, couplets, and the national flag arranged harmoniously, contributing to the education of traditions and enhancing the political fortitude of officers and soldiers.

Some units also organized display corners showcasing images of training and combat readiness activities, thereby reminding each soldier to enjoy the Lunar New Year while not forgetting their duty to protect the homeland.

The preparations for the Lunar New Year are proceeding urgently and systematically; officers and soldiers are demonstrating a sense of responsibility and proactively completing all aspects of their work, both creating a neat and tidy appearance for the unit and strictly maintaining the combat readiness duty regime.

Along with the military forces, officers and soldiers of the Provincial Border Guard are also urgently renovating their units, border posts, and stations in a standardized, green, clean, and beautiful manner.

At military units stationed along the coast and border, the national flag, banners, and slogans celebrating the Party and the Lunar New Year are displayed prominently; the grounds are cleaned and maintained, creating a neat and welcoming appearance.

The preparations for the Lunar New Year are closely linked to maintaining strict combat readiness, patrolling, controlling, and firmly protecting the sovereignty and security of the province's borders and maritime areas during the Tet holiday.

Alongside decorating for the Lunar New Year, the provincial armed forces units strictly maintain combat readiness, command duty, duty officer, and air defense duty; and develop comprehensive plans to protect agencies and units before, during, and after Tet.

Cultural and artistic activities and folk games are organized in a healthy, economical, and safe manner; combining the promotion of the traditions of the Vietnam People's Army, educating awareness of law enforcement and military discipline, and enhancing revolutionary vigilance among officers and soldiers.

While celebrating the Lunar New Year, the armed forces units of the province did not forget their duties, maintaining strict readiness for combat to ensure a peaceful Tet holiday for the people.

Welcoming the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026 in a spirit of emulation and determination to win, officers and soldiers of the armed forces of Ca Mau province continue to uphold the heroic traditions of their homeland, united, proactive, creative, and ready to accept and excellently complete all assigned tasks.
