Accordingly, during the 21 days of the "Proud of Vietnamese Products" program, from August 29 to September 18, Co.opmart, Co.opXtra, Co.op Food, Co.op Smile, Sense Market, Sense City, Cheers, Finelife reserved all the best locations to display and introduce Vietnamese products; coordinate with more than 600 business partners to discount from 10 - 50% for more than 3,500 Vietnamese products in all product categories.

According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, statistics show that the total retail sales of goods and services in the country in the first half of 2024 increased by only 8.6% compared to the same period last year. Excluding the price increase factor, the total retail sales of goods and services in the first six months of this year increased by only 5.7%.
In Ho Chi Minh City alone, Mr. Le Huynh Minh Tu, deputy director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Industry and Trade, said that the agency received a sharp increase in the number of applications for promotional programs from businesses compared to last year.

The favorable thing is that according to statistics in the Ho Chi Minh City market, Vietnamese consumers have proactively used Vietnamese products. In the recent past, the rate of acceptance and priority of using Vietnamese products by consumers has reached 90% and 75% of consumers recommend relatives and friends to buy Vietnamese products...
The increasingly deep and wide coverage of Vietnamese goods on both modern and traditional channels is the result of the combined efforts of many departments, agencies and units, including the role of retail systems such as Saigon Co.op.

Many partners accompany Saigon Co.op
On this occasion, Saigon Co.op cooperated with Unilever Vietnam to carry out a series of projects "Improving school quality - Green, clean and healthy" at 70 schools with many limitations in facilities nationwide with items such as building toilets, libraries, sports fields, equipping water filtration systems and hand washing areas...
The projects are expected to be constructed and handed over in the third and fourth quarters of 2024, depending on the current status and needs of each school, welcoming students before the new school year.
