Saigontourist Group participates in activities celebrating the 80th anniversary of Vietnam National Day

Saigon Tourist Corporation (Saigontourist Group) is honored to accompany Ho Chi Minh City to participate in the exhibition of socio-economic achievements on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025) (the meaningful and concise name for this special event is A80).

The event takes place from August 28 to September 5, 2025 at the National Exhibition Center, Hanoi .

This event is not only a special political mission but also an opportunity for Saigontourist Group to introduce the culture, cuisine and tourism characteristics of Ho Chi Minh City to domestic and international friends. As a representative of the city, accompanying Ho Chi Minh City (including the former Binh Duong and Ba Ria - Vung Tau provinces), Saigontourist Group brings a diverse and rich display and experience space.

At the event, Saigontourist Group participated in main activities, including exhibition of achievements, services, Saigontourist Group brand with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism; organizing exhibition booths, connecting tour services, giving gifts, interacting with visitors at the exhibition space of cultural - economic - social - tourism - culinary achievements of Ho Chi Minh City in the East.

Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh inspected the activities of the Ho Chi Minh City Culinary Cultural Space within the framework of the National Achievement Exhibition on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day.

Coming to the A80 event, Rex Saigon Hotel serves dishes with the strong imprint of Saigon and the Southwest region such as braised offal - bread, broken rice with pork chop - pork skin, grilled spring rolls, grilled meat, steamed snails with lemongrass leaves and Southern fruit tea...

Grand Saigon Hotel serves diners extremely attractive "snack" dishes such as spring rolls with shrimp and lotus seeds, grilled beef wrapped in betel leaves, beef bread wrapped in betel leaves - Saigon salted pork belly bread, stir-fried beef vermicelli, spring roll vermicelli and grilled beef vermicelli wrapped in betel leaves.

Meanwhile, the Majestic Saigon Hotel conquers diners with "memorable" dishes such as vermicelli with spring rolls, grilled spring rolls, Saigon spring rolls, Southern shrimp and crab spring rolls, Thu Duc grilled spring rolls - rice vermicelli, Gia Dinh savory sticky rice, minced mango, dried pineapple fish, and kumquat tea with tamarind and chia seeds.

Serving both the East and West areas of the National Exhibition and Fair Center, throughout the days of the A80 event, Binh Quoi Tourist Village will bring a liberal culinary breeze with Saigon spring rolls, papaya salad with pig and shrimp ears, Southern Vietnamese spring rolls, Can Gio mantis shrimp noodle soup, Ba Ba sweet soup - corn sweet soup, three-color floating rice balls sweet soup, green bean and wood ear sweet soup, tofu with sugar water and steamed banana cake with coconut water... with a very Saigon flavor.

STHC School has added a collection of rustic dishes and creative drinks. These include leopard skin bread, palm cake, pig skin cake; salt coffee, pandan coffee, Tiramisu coffee, 3-layer milk coffee, grass jelly with silver bean paste, pink salt cocoa, coconut cocoa, durian cocoa, black sugar pearl cocoa, cocoa biscuit, Lang Ta roasted rice milk tea, golden lotus tea, tamarind soursop tea, pandan green tea, passion fruit and mint tea, longan chia seed tea, and smoothies and teas.
