On the morning of October 17, on the way to Vietnam, the Ovation of the Seas (5-star international cruise ship) carrying more than 4,000 tourists docked at Chan May port (Hue city).

Many tourists disembarked the ship to visit and seek information at the Tourist Information and Support Center at Chan May Port; and were also taken by travel agencies to visit relics and scenic spots in the Central region.

Chan May port has become an important destination for tourist ships thanks to its strategic location and upgraded infrastructure in recent times.

The port is capable of accommodating large cruise ships, is one of 46 recognized cruise destinations in Southeast Asia, attracts many major international shipping lines and is aiming to become an international standard cruise port.
