Distributor CGV Vietnam has just announced that the animated film The King of Kings (Vietnamese title: The King of Kings) will have a Vietnamese dubbed version in addition to the subtitled version.

Notably, this version has the participation of many famous artists and actors: Meritorious Artist Thanh Loc, Meritorious Artist Bach Long, artists Tu Trinh, Khanh Hoang, voice actors Dat Phi, Huyen Chi, Tran Ngoc San and actors Minh Long, Truong Ha, Minh Thanh...
In which, Meritorious Artist Thanh Loc will dub the character Charles Dickens and Meritorious Artist Bach Long will dub the character King Herod.
According to the publisher's representative, each artist is selected based on the voice and tone appropriate to each character, thereby maintaining the solemn and humane spirit of the original work.

Among the voice actors for this work, the most notable is actor Hua Vi Van, who contributed his voice for the first time in a dubbing project. More specifically, his first voice-over role is Jesus Christ - an experience he calls "spiritual happiness".

The special feature of the Vietnamese version is that the Vietnamese translation was done by the Liturgical Hours translation group, a prestigious translation group in the field of liturgy and the Bible. Thanks to that, every line of the film is kept true to the original spirit, the solemnity of the liturgy and the depth of religious language.
The film was released in North America in April and made an impressive $60.3 million in 17 days, becoming the highest-grossing animated film based on the Bible. The film has now grossed more than $77 million worldwide.
In Vietnam, the film will be shown in theaters from December 12.
