Hong Anh and Hua Vi Van return in "Blood Moon Party 8"

Two actors who contributed to the success of Blood Moon Party will return in the project Blood Moon Party 8, the work is scheduled to be released on April 30, 2026.

The Blood Moon Party 8 project has just revealed the identities of the first actors participating in this project. The work brings together a cast of talented actors of Vietnamese cinema, in which Hong Anh and Hua Vi Van are the two names that receive the most attention. The reason is because, 5 years ago, the two had a good combination in the movie Blood Moon Party , contributing to the success with a revenue of more than 170 billion VND.

Along with two veteran names, Lien Binh Phat, Miu Le and Quynh Ly will also participate in Blood Moon Party 8 .

This will be Lien Binh Phat's next role on the big screen after winning the Best Actor award at the 2025 Golden Bell Awards (Taiwan, China).

The film is directed by Phan Gia Nhat Linh - who previously served as producer of Blood Moon Party . Meanwhile, the role of producer for this project is veteran filmmaker Charlie Nguyen.

The producer said he wanted to bring an acting feast to movie-loving audiences, so he focused on talented actors who could work well together on screen.

In addition, the film's content has only been revealed as "every mystery, every drama is bigger, the tension is greater and the connections are more complex". The producer also introduced a unique Halloween photo series inspired by the red moon (also known as the blood moon) and the disco ball, evoking the image of a trendy but haunted party.

Blood Moon Party 8 is distributed by Lotte Entertainment Vietnam, scheduled to premiere on April 30, 2026.
