Khanh Hoa: Truck overturned, Cu Hin pass congested

On the afternoon of December 3, the Cam Lam Regional Traffic Police Team (Traffic Police Department of Khanh Hoa Province) said that on Cu Hin Pass (Nguyen Tat Thanh Avenue, through Cam Lam Commune), a traffic accident occurred, causing a truck to overturn.

According to initial information, at around 3:00 p.m. the same day, the truck with license plate 79H-012.xx, driven by driver NXH (33 years old, residing in Khanh Vinh commune), was traveling from Nha Trang to Cam Ranh airport. When reaching km16+700 of Nguyen Tat Thanh avenue, the vehicle suddenly lost control, hit the median strip and flipped over.

At the scene, the vehicle was badly damaged; the driver was fortunately uninjured; but traffic through the area was congested.

Authorities quickly arrived, organized traffic flow, directed traffic and coordinated to investigate the cause of the incident.

Nguyen Tat Thanh Avenue connecting Nha Trang and Cam Ranh airport is about 35km long, the section passing through Cu Hin pass alone is about 8km long.

According to Khanh Hoa Hydrometeorological Station, on December 3 and 4, the province will have moderate to heavy rain, some places will have very heavy rain; total rainfall is 40 - 80mm/period, some places can exceed 150mm/period.
