Party building work achieved outstanding results.

On October 14, 1930, at the first Central Executive Committee Conference of the Party, the Central Committee decided to establish the Party building organization branch. Over the past 95 years, generations of cadres working in Party building organization have been absolutely loyal to the Party, upholding political mettle, cultivating moral qualities, and contributing to building a clean and strong Party.

Promoting that glorious tradition, the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee has proactively and creatively fulfilled its advisory function to the Standing Committee and the Provincial Party Committee on the work of organizing cadres, party members and protecting internal politics . Under the leadership and direction of the Standing Committee and the Provincial Party Committee, the work of organizing and building the Party in An Giang has achieved many important results.

Notably, the work of consolidating and perfecting the organizational apparatus in implementing the Central's policy on arranging and operating the local government at two levels in a streamlined, effective and efficient manner. The Provincial Party Committee's Organization Board coordinated with functional branches to advise the Standing Committee and the Provincial Party Committee to develop a project to merge Kien Giang and An Giang provinces, establish the An Giang Provincial Party Committee; a project to merge agencies, departments, branches, the Front and socio-political organizations of Kien Giang and An Giang provinces; a project to create a new Provincial Party Committee; establish subordinate party committees, merge commune-level administrative units; at the same time, advise on appointing party committees of newly established communes and arrange and streamline the organizational apparatus to ensure compliance with requirements. Up to now, the Provincial Party Committee has 107 subordinate party committees, with 931 grassroots party organizations (420 grassroots party committees, 511 grassroots party cells). In general, the party organization system at all levels in the province has been streamlined, operating more and more stably and effectively. At the same time, it actively advises the Provincial Party Committee to successfully direct the congresses of grassroots party organizations and congresses of upper-level party committees for the 2025-2030 term.

There have been many innovations in personnel work, ensuring democracy, objectivity, impartiality, and compliance with procedures and regulations. Timely advising the Party Committee on perfecting the organization and personnel work, appointing and adding many comrades to the executive committee, standing committee of affiliated party committees and some key positions after the merger. The appointed comrades have strong political will, pure moral qualities, capacity and prestige, contributing to improving the quality of the staff, especially leaders and managers at all levels. Policies on training, fostering, rotation, planning and evaluation of cadres have been implemented synchronously and effectively.

Attention has been paid to the work of party organization and party members. The whole province has 131,548 party members, of which 1,513 were admitted in the first 9 months of 2025. The work of party member management, education and training has been strengthened, focusing on improving the quality of party cell activities; promptly reviewing and screening to remove party members who violate the Party. Implementing Directive No. 51-CT/TW, dated August 8, 2025 of the Central Party Secretariat on exchanging party membership cards, up to now, the entire provincial Party Committee has officially exchanged party membership cards at 97%.

Internal political protection and personnel policies have been strengthened. The Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee has advised on strict implementation of regulations on internal political protection, serving well the personnel work and the political tasks of the locality; at the same time, paying attention to resolving the personnel regime and policies, creating stability and consensus internally. Focusing on innovating working methods and styles, synchronously deploying software for managing party members and personnel records, using artificial intelligence (AI) in operations, contributing to improving the effectiveness of consultation, shortening the time to resolve work...

The above results significantly contribute to improving the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Provincial Party Committee, creating momentum for socio-economic development, consolidating national defense and security, and improving people's lives.

Celebrating the 95th anniversary of the traditional day, the Party building organization sector, the collective of cadres and civil servants of the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee are proud, confident, and continue to uphold the spirit of solidarity, responsibility, political mettle, and revolutionary ethics; constantly study, practice, innovate, and improve the quality of advisory work, focusing on the following tasks and solutions:

Firstly, continue to thoroughly grasp and strictly implement the resolutions and directives of the Central and Provincial Party Committees on Party building and organization, especially Conclusion No. 21-KL/TW of the 13th Central Executive Committee on promoting Party building and rectification and the political system. Build good internal solidarity, promote the political core role of Party organizations and Party members in agencies and organizations; improve the leadership capacity and public ethics of cadres and Party members; resolutely fight against signs of political and ideological degradation, "self-evolution", and "self-transformation".

Second, continue to innovate and reorganize the political system to be streamlined and operate effectively and efficiently. In particular, advise the Party Committee to prepare well the work of reviewing, arranging and assigning cadres to ensure comprehensive standards, capacity and qualities of cadres; implement democratic, public, transparent and regulated processes to prepare well for the personnel of the Provincial Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term.

Third, strengthen internal political protection work, proactively grasp the situation, avoid being passive or surprised; protect the integrity of cadres and party members.

Fourth, promote the application of digital transformation in Party building and organization work, gradually modernize the method of managing cadres and Party members, ensuring publicity, transparency, timeliness and accuracy.

Fifth, take care of building a team of cadres at all levels, ensuring standards, conditions, qualities, capacity and prestige, equal to the tasks. At the same time, pay attention to training, fostering and promoting a team of young cadres, female cadres, cadres from ethnic minorities, creating inheritance and sustainable development. Focus on political education, ideology, revolutionary ethics for cadres and party members, contributing to raising awareness of self-cultivation, training, preserving pure qualities, exemplary lifestyle, and closely connecting with the people.
