The "Sam Son - Aspiration to Shine" beach festival, organized by the Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee and Sun Group , aims to kick off the 2025 summer tourism season. The event, taking place before the April 30th holiday, is expected to attract over 300,000 attendees.
According to the organizers, this large-scale art program is meticulously planned in both content and performance style, aiming to honor traditional values and inspire aspirations for excellence. Visitors will experience an artistic journey where the past and present intersect, with musical performances showcasing unique styles.
The program consists of three chapters, introducing the land of "spiritual and talented people," a place marked by significant historical and cultural events of the nation up to the present day. Audiences will hear songs such as "Thanh Hoa, Land of Kind People," "Greetings to the Heroic Ma River," and "Red Blood, Yellow Skin," performed in a fresh musical style.
At the Beach Square stage, renowned artists such as Thu Minh, ST Son Thach, Pham Anh Duy, Luong Nguyet Anh, Dong Hung, Le Anh Dung, My Lam, and the band Dong Thoi Gian will perform under the direction of MC Anh Tuan.
Hosted by MC My Lan and MC Hanh Phuc, the program promises to attract thousands of attendees at the event and millions more watching live on TTV channel and the digital platforms of Thanh Hoa Radio and Television Station.
The highlight of the evening was the spectacular fireworks display against the Sam Son night sky, concluding the program and ushering in a vibrant summer. This image reflects the powerful transformation of Sam Son.

Sam Son Beach Square, where the event took place, features a musical fountain system using German technology with 300 nozzles combined with RGB LED lights. The festival marked the beginning of a series of rich summer tourism activities in the coastal city. With its cool climate and diverse destinations ranging from blue seas to high mountains, Sam Son is gradually asserting its position as one of the most attractive tourist destinations in Northern Vietnam.
During the April 30th - May 1st holiday, Sam Son beach square will host many evening activities, including a musical fountain show. The performances, combining sound, light, and water effects, promise a spectacular entertainment experience for visitors.
Along the square are cafes, drink stalls, restaurants, and diverse street food stalls. Visitors can enjoy coffee, dinner, or snacks such as grilled rice paper rolls and coconut ice cream.
Other recreational activities here are also innovatively developed, including mobile game areas, mini electric vehicles, art check-in zones, and street performances. In addition, visitors can enjoy strolling along Ho Xuan Huong beach road or savoring seafood at the vibrant food courts.
Sun World Sam Son Water Park, which reopened on April 12th, is set to be a popular destination this summer. This entertainment complex boasts a large-scale system of water games, wave pools, high-speed slides, and relaxation areas suitable for all ages.
