The "Sam Son - Aspiration to Shine" sea festival is organized by the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province and Sun Group to kick off the summer tourist season in 2025. The event takes place before the April 30 holiday and is expected to attract more than 300,000 attendees.
According to the organizers, this large-scale art program has been carefully invested in both content and performance form, aiming to honor traditional values and arouse the desire to shine. Visitors will experience an artistic journey where the past and present intersect, with unique musical performances.
The program consists of three chapters, introducing the land of "spiritual land and talented people", where important historical and cultural events of the nation were marked up to Thanh today. The audience will hear songs such as Que Thanh, land of human love, Hello Heroic Ma River, Red Blood, Yellow Skin with a new musical style.
At the Sea Square stage, famous artists such as Thu Minh, ST Son Thach, Pham Anh Duy, Luong Nguyet Anh, Dong Hung, Le Anh Dung, My Lam and the band Dong Thoi Gian will perform under the direction of MC Anh Tuan.
The program is hosted by MC My Lan and MC Hanh Phuc, promising to have thousands of viewers at the event and millions of viewers via live television on TTV channel and digital platform of Thanh Hoa Radio and Television Station.
The highlight of the festival was the artistic fireworks display in the Sam Son night sky, closing the program and opening the vibrant summer. This image represents the strong transformation of Sam Son.

Sam Son Beach Square, where the event took place, had a German-technology water music system with 300 nozzles combined with RGB LED lights. The festival marked the beginning of a series of rich summer tourism activities in the coastal city. With a cool climate and diverse destinations from blue sea to high mountains, Sam Son gradually affirmed its position as one of the attractive tourist destinations in the North.
During the April 30-May 1 holiday, Sam Son Beach Square has many activities every evening with a water music show. The performances combine sound, light and water effects, promising to bring a satisfying entertainment space for visitors.
Along the square are cafes, drink stalls, restaurants and street food areas of various styles. Visitors can enjoy coffee, dinner or snacks such as grilled rice paper and coconut ice cream.
Other entertainment activities here are also newly deployed with mobile game areas, mini electric cars, art check-in areas and street performances. In addition, visitors can experience walking on the sea road of Ho Xuan Huong or enjoy seafood at the vibrant culinary areas.
Sun World Sam Son Water Park reopened on April 12 and will be a popular destination this summer. This entertainment complex features a large-scale water game system, wave pools, high-speed slides and relaxation areas suitable for all ages.
