Galaxy A56 will charge faster than Galaxy S24
This information appeared on China's quality certification (CQC) database, showing that the Galaxy A56 (model number SM-A5660) can charge at a maximum of 10V and 4.5A, equivalent to 45W capacity.
This is a big step up from the current Galaxy A55, which only supports 25W fast charging. Even the standard Galaxy S24 only has 25W charging capacity. Thus, the Galaxy A56 will have a faster charging speed than Samsung's latest flagship.
Previously, Samsung has equipped 45W charging for some mid-range smartphones in the Galaxy F and Galaxy M series. However, this is the first time this technology has appeared on the Galaxy A series.
Besides 45W fast charging, Galaxy A56 is expected to have many other valuable upgrades such as powerful Exynos 1580 chip with 8-core CPU, 50 MP main camera, 12 MP selfie camera and long-term software update support.
With these upgrades, the Galaxy A56 promises to be an attractive choice in the mid-range smartphone segment, bringing a premium experience to users.
