This year, Samsung is taking the kitchen experience to the next level with the introduction of a new 9-inch AI Home refrigerator and a 7-inch AI Home wall oven. The company is also expanding its display options for laundry appliances, with a 7-inch AI Home display built into the Bespoke AI Laundry Combo and coming to the Bespoke AI washer and dryer. These products will be introduced at CES 2025.
Samsung wants to realize "screens everywhere" on its home appliances
“We continue to pioneer the development of display devices that enhance the user experience with innovative features and functions,” said Jeong Seung Moon, Vice President and Head of R&D Division of Home Appliances Business at Samsung Electronics. “In addition to our continuous feature enhancement efforts, we continue to expand user choices through the development of displays of various sizes and efficient integrated products.”
Samsung aims to improve usability for consumers and realize the vision of a connected smart home. Samsung home appliances support voice control through Bixby, allowing users to easily monitor information such as the temperature inside the refrigerator or the washing cycle. Map View also allows users to control connected devices from a single screen.
In the kitchen, Samsung will introduce a Bespoke refrigerator with a 9-inch AI Home display that offers advanced features from the Family Hub line but in a more compact size. An improved Map View feature allows users to control devices such as air conditioners and robot vacuum cleaners from the main screen.
To expand AI Home's presence in laundry appliances, Samsung will introduce a 7-inch AI Home display on its Bespoke AI Laundry Combo line. The display makes laundry easier with intuitive menus and real-time cycle tracking.
The 7-inch AI Home display will also be available on the Bespoke Wall Oven in North America, with features like recipe recommendations and enhanced connectivity. The AI Pro Cooking technology has been upgraded, allowing users to add favorite recipes and save settings for frequently cooked dishes.
With these improvements, Samsung not only modernizes the user interface but also synchronizes the device with the company's smart ecosystem, creating a true "AI Home".
