Ready for the Storytelling Contest based on books in Dien Bien province in 2025

On October 6, 2025, the Organizing Committee of the 2025 Storytelling Contest in Dien Bien province held a meeting to review the progress and agree on the preparation content for the Contest.

Comrade Tran Hai Ha - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Head of the Organizing Committee chaired the meeting. Attending the meeting were members of the Organizing Committee from the Department of Education and Training, the Provincial Library, the Provincial Cultural - Cinema Center and representatives of relevant professional departments.

At the meeting, the Provincial Library - the standing unit of the Contest reported on the progress of the implementation of the following tasks: Completing the system of documents, regulations, plans, building a system of propaganda and decoration layouts; organizing propaganda on information channels; preparing venues for the Contest; urging and compiling the list of participating teams. There will be 30 teams from primary, secondary and high schools across the province. At the same time, the Provincial Library has also drafted a Notice to summon the teams.

Next, the Organizing Committee assigned specific tasks to each member, ensuring clarity, correct functions and work progress. In particular, the Provincial Library continues to play the role of permanent focal point; the Department of Education and Training continues to direct educational institutions to practice and prepare the best conditions to participate in the Competition.

At the Meeting, the Organizing Committee also agreed on the overall program of the Competition. The Competition will take place from October 22 to October 26, 2025 at the Provincial Convention - Cultural Center, including 03 main competitions: Team introduction, Storytelling from books and Talent competition. The opening ceremony will be held at 20:00, October 23, 2025; closing on the afternoon of October 26, 2025.

In his concluding remarks, the Head of the Organizing Committee requested that the units continue to coordinate closely and seriously carry out assigned tasks, ensuring that the Contest is organized thoughtfully, effectively and spreads practical meaning in developing reading culture.
