Implementing the direction of the Executive Council of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) and the consensus of local authorities at all levels, the Executive Committee of the VBS in Quang Ninh province issued Plan No. 76/KH-BTS on organizing the procession, enshrinement and worship of Buddha's relics at Truc Lam Yen Tu Palace (Uong Bi City).
Accordingly, on May 24, the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province held a meeting with relevant units and the Organizing Committee (Tung Lam Development Joint Stock Company) to prepare for the procession and enshrinement of Buddha's relics at Truc Lam Yen Tu Palace, Yen Tu scenic relic site.
Most Venerable Thich Thanh Quyet, Head of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Quang Ninh province, shared that the procession of the Sakyamuni Buddha relics to Truc Lam Yen Tu Palace is not only an important religious event but also a cultural and spiritual activity with profoundeducational significance. This is an opportunity for monks, nuns, Buddhists and people to pay homage, express their respect, and at the same time arouse faith, goodness, and a good life. At the same time, this event is an opportunity to promote the spiritual values and scenic beauty of Yen Tu to domestic and international friends.

The Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Quang Ninh province affirmed that during the event, special attention will be paid to ensuring traffic safety, order, security, health care and fire prevention and fighting to ensure absolute safety for people and visitors.
According to the Organizing Committee, the procession of Buddha's relics from Phuc Son Pagoda, Bac Giang to Yen Tu officially begins from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on May 25, 2025 (April 28, At Ty year). The route is determined from Phuc Son Pagoda (Tan Yen district, Bac Giang province), across Cam Ly bridge, Chi Linh city, then along National Highway 18 to Yen Tu scenic relic site, Quang Ninh province.

It is expected that about 50 cars will join the procession, including 3 flower cars and a ceremonial procession, with the participation of leaders of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, representatives of departments and branches of Quang Ninh province, the Provincial Executive Committee and monks and nuns of typical pagodas.
In particular, the Buddha relic procession ceremony from Khai Tam gate to Truc Lam Yen Tu Palace, Buddha relics will be carried in a solemn atmosphere, with a typical ritual formation, including: monk leading team, young Buddhist team, festival drum team, lotus team, Dharma instrument procession team... Monks, nuns, and Buddhists participating in the worship must all wear solemn costumes, showing their respect. The Buddha relic installation ceremony will be from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on May 25, 2025.
After the ceremonies, the Buddha's relics will be worshiped from 6:00 p.m. on May 25 to May 28, 2025. The Buddha's relics will be enshrined at Truc Lam Yen Tu Palace, a space solemnly and sacredly decorated with flower lanterns, flags and banners paying homage to the Buddha. During the worship time, leaders of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, leaders of Uong Bi province and city, along with tens of thousands of people and Buddhists will take turns worshiping and chanting according to the instructions of the Organizing Committee.

To ensure the event takes place safely and thoughtfully, the Board of Trustees has closely coordinated with relevant departments and agencies such as the Provincial Police, the Department of Culture - Sports - Tourism, the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions, the People's Committees of Uong Bi and Dong Trieu cities, and the Yen Tu National Forest Management Board. In particular, functional forces will be mobilized to ensure traffic safety, tourist flow, fire prevention, rescue and ensure food hygiene and safety.

Tung Lam Development Joint Stock Company was also directed to support the rental of tents, the arrangement of mobile toilets and cool resting places to serve tourists. Quang Ninh Electricity and Quang Ninh Telecommunications committed to ensuring continuous power supply and transmission lines throughout the event.
