With the theme “Transforming sustainable smart manufacturing in the new era”, the event aims to connect domestic manufacturing enterprises, industrial parks and Vietnamese investors with international partners, while quickly updating the latest advances in advanced manufacturing industries in the world .
At the forum, Mr. Vo Van Than, Chairman of the Association of Enterprises of Ho Chi Minh City Industrial Parks, said that Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation, and Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW on private economic development are two very important resolutions, creating momentum to promote Vietnam's economy in the new era.

The Association has identified the goal of promoting and encouraging businesses to invest and transform into smart production models and sustainable smart industrial parks.
“The Sustainable Smart Manufacturing Forum is considered a platform for information exchange, discussion, and experience sharing among domestic and foreign enterprises to jointly achieve the goals set by the Party and Government,” Mr. Vo Van Than emphasized.
According to Mr. Vo Van Than, through this forum, the association hopes that organizations and businesses will have a more objective view of trends, seize opportunities to exploit available potentials to expand cooperation to create strong business communities, develop sustainably, and contribute to the development of the national economy in the new era.
Associate Professor, Dr. Chau Dinh Thanh, Vice Principal of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technical Education, said that the forum not only keeps pace with global trends but is also completely consistent with the spirit of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW.
This is a topical and strategic topic, reflecting the urgent requirements and inevitable trends of modern industry, in the context of Vietnam accelerating international integration, participating deeply in global value chains, and facing new demands on net emissions, resource efficiency and green transformation.
“The transformation from traditional production models to smart production associated with sustainable factors of intelligence and governance is not only an option but the only way to enhance national competitiveness, ensuring long-term, harmonious and inclusive development,” said Associate Professor, Dr. Chau Dinh Thanh.
Meanwhile, Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Khanh, Executive Director of the Sustainable Smart Manufacturing Forum and General Director of the Vietnam Industrial Park Information Portal, emphasized that the forum has special significance in the context of global manufacturing facing a new era where green technology and digitalization will reshape the way of production, business and development worldwide.
