Reuters news agency reported that striker Linda Caicedo fainted and clutched her chest in pain during a training session on July 27. The player was jogging around the training ground when she suddenly stopped and clutched her chest. She was discovered by her teammates and medical staff were called for emergency first aid.
" Linda was very tired. What happened was a manifestation of stress and physical insecurity. She has now recovered and everything is back to normal ," said the Colombian Football Federation.
