The Department of E-commerce and Digital Economy ( Ministry of Industry and Trade ) said that the ASEAN Online Sale Day is the largest event in ASEAN in the field of e-commerce, with the goal of promoting e-commerce activities in particular and the digital transformation process of the region in general.
Accordingly, the ASEAN Online Shopping Day 2023 program will take place simultaneously in 10 ASEAN member countries from August 8, 2023 to August 22, 2023. During the program, consumers in the ASEAN region can shop on digital platforms of businesses and major domestic and foreign e-commerce platforms with special offers for the event.

In addition, in order to enhance consumer confidence in cross-border online transactions, Vietnam has implemented a cross-border online dispute resolution system.
According to the Department of E-commerce and Digital Economy , after receiving consumer complaints related to cross-border transactions within the framework of the ASEAN Online Shopping Day Program, the System will be used to exchange and work with focal points of ASEAN countries to resolve complaints.
Through this System, feedback and complaints between buyers and sellers are transparent, cross-border e-commerce activities will be more convenient; thereby, organizations and agencies can also count and resolve problems in online transactions accurately and quickly.
To learn more about the ASEAN Online Sale Day Program, follow the latest information and activities of the Program, consumers, businesses or organizations in Vietnam and ASEAN countries can visit the Program's official website at www.onlineasean.com; the Program's website will also be integrated with the ASEAN Information Page (asean.org) and communicated on the information channels and social networks of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN).
Interested domestic enterprises can register to participate in the Program following the instructions here. The registration period for enterprises to participate in the Program will start from July 15 to August 7, 2023.
