Prizes for photo and video contest on human rights in Vietnam to be awarded soon

The contest contributes to arousing the aspiration to develop a prosperous and happy nation, promoting cultural values and the strength of the Vietnamese people in the new era.

The photo and video contest on the topic of human rights in our country called "Happy Vietnam - Happy Vietnam 2023" organized by the Ministry of Information and Communications in the form of online through the Vietnam image promotion platform - https://vietnam.vn has reached the final stage. On December 17, the Department of Grassroots Information (Ministry of Information and Communications) announced that the opening ceremony of the exhibition and the announcement of the awards of the Contest will take place on the evening of December 19 at the Hanoi Opera House, broadcast live on VTV4 channel, Vietnam Television; posted on VTVgo, the Vietnam image promotion platform - https://vietnam.vn and a number of other digital platforms. After 4 months of launching, from June to October 2023, the contest has attracted more than 7,000 photo and video entries from domestic and international authors. The organizing committee has selected nearly 30 outstanding and outstanding works to award prizes and 70 photos and 14 videos to be displayed at the exhibition. Each work is an interesting story, a beautiful and happy memory, and can also be a practical perspective on a life with many difficulties and hardships but always full of smiles and joy...

The contest creates opportunities for people nationwide, overseas Vietnamese to express their love for their homeland, country and enthusiasm in creating photos and videos to promote the image of the country to the world, arousing the aspiration to develop a prosperous and happy nation, promoting cultural values, and the strength of the Vietnamese people in the new era. The entire funding for the contest comes from socialized sources, with a total value of more than 400 million VND. The Organizing Committee will award prizes to authors with outstanding works, including: 2 First prizes worth 100 million VND/prize; 2 Second prizes worth 30 million VND/prize; 2 Third prizes worth 20 million VND/prize; 20 Encouragement prizes and many other prizes.
