In September 2021, the Ministry of Information and Communications launched the National Digital Transformation Program, with the goal of fiber optic Internet infrastructure connecting 80% of households and 100% of communes by 2025. Contributing to the realization of the Ministry's policy, VNPT has recently cooperated with Nokia Group to bring 10 Gigabit per second (10 Gbps) broadband technology to Vietnam for the first time. With this technology, Internet users can choose a service package with a speed of up to 10 Gbps.

The initial deployment phase will connect 10,000 households and businesses in the 8 largest cities and provinces in the country, building the best telecommunications platform to deploy digital transformation solution ecosystems for the government and businesses. VNPT has also participated in researching standards and testing towards multi-connection 7th generation Wifi with speeds up to 30Gb/s to build a strong telecommunications network infrastructure for national projects.

VNPT offers high-speed Internet packages from only 165,000 VND/month

With modern telecommunications infrastructure, VNPT has recently announced the provision of a series of high-speed WiFi internet packages (from 100 Mbps to 1000 Mbps) for all households in Vietnam, with prices remaining almost unchanged, starting from only 165,000 VND/month.

Explaining this, VNPT said that the need for modern entertainment and connectivity is growing. Entertainment services such as watching movies, listening to music online... are booming strongly. To meet the needs of users, the quality of movies is also improving, from Full HD to 4K, then 8K... Users' connection needs do not stop at accessing the internet, reading newspapers, but are increasingly popular for video calling with extremely clear images, playing games with "huge" graphics, operating smart devices in the home. VNPT's Wifi Mesh 6 has an internet connection speed of up to 3Gbps, 2 bands 2.4Ghz and 5GHz 9 (2 bands), 50% reduced latency, and the ability to connect up to 100 devices simultaneously.

Customers using VNPT's high-speed Internet packages are equipped with modern dual-band WiFi devices, allowing them to serve dozens of different devices at the same time with high and stable access quality. For only an additional VND 30,000/month, customers will own a superior WiFi Mesh device with the ability to transmit WiFi through walls, eliminating "WiFi dead spots" in the house, meeting the need for seamless connection for multi-room apartments or multi-storey houses.
