YG Entertainment CEO Yang Hyun Suk has just announced the company's new plans for 2025. Notably, Blackpink's world tour and the return of legendary Korean group 2NE1 are scheduled to take place.

Specifically, 2NE1 reunited to celebrate their 15th debut anniversary. The popular 2nd generation girl group will embark on a global tour together, starting in Seoul (Korea) in October.

The group's tour then continued in Japan with locations such as Osaka in November and Tokyo in December, lasting until 2025.

In addition to 2NE1's activities, YG Entertainment also has specific plans for its beloved group Blackpink. At the end of 2023, YG Entertainment confirmed that the members would renew their group contracts with them.

Accordingly, the large Korean entertainment group is still responsible for releasing new albums and conducting the group's world tours. However, the four members did not sign individual contracts with YG.

President Yang Hyun Suk revealed that Blackpink will have a grand global tour in 2025. In addition, YG Entertainment's rookie groups such as Babymonster and Treasure are also expected to have their own tours.

In addition, to celebrate Blackpink's 8th anniversary, the music film Blackpink World Tour (Born Pink) In Cinemas will be released on August 31. The film, which documents the performances from the group's Born Pink world tour, will be released in more than 110 countries.
