(DN) - On the afternoon of August 6, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee Le Truong Son chaired a meeting with leaders of relevant departments and branches on organizing the Science, Technology, Innovation and Digital Transformation Festival of Dong Nai province in 2025.

At the working session, leaders of the Department of Science and Technology presented a draft plan to organize the Science, Technology, Innovation and Digital Transformation Festival of Dong Nai province in 2025.

Accordingly, the festival will carry out many practical activities to celebrate the National Innovation Festival (October 1) and the National Digital Transformation Day (October 10), especially to welcome the Congress of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term. At the same time, the program contributes to concretizing and effectively implementing Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation in the province.

Activities at the festival are expected to take place from September 24 to 26, at the Dong Nai Province Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center. Notable activities include: Science and technology exhibition, a series of seminars and conferences on the implementation of Resolution 57-NQ/TW; seminars on science, technology, digital transformation, innovation; conferences to connect and call for investment capital for start-up projects... In addition, there are programs and competitions organized by the Provincial Youth Union related to youth with digital transformation, innovation, science, technology...

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee Le Truong Son agreed on the time, venue and theme of the Dong Nai Province Science, Technology, Innovation and Digital Transformation Festival 2025 as "Creative Runway, Dong Nai Takes Off".

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Department of Science and Technology to coordinate with relevant departments, branches and units to review and unify plans to organize activities at the festival in an effective and practical manner. In particular, it is necessary to proactively connect with major universities, large corporations and enterprises in the fields of science, technology, innovation, digital transformation to participate in seminars, exhibitions, forums, etc. at the festival.

Exhibitions on science and technology at the festival need to be expanded. In addition to booths displaying science, technology, and telecommunications, there should be more booths displaying high-tech agriculture, trade, digital services, etc.; booths displaying products that won high prizes at the Provincial Technical Innovation Contests and the Provincial Youth and Children's Creativity Contests in recent years, etc.

Vice Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee Le Truong Son emphasized: Relevant departments, branches and units should strengthen promotional activities, information and propaganda of the series of activities, seminars and events at the festival on many online platforms; connect people, businesses, students, etc. in the province to participate and respond to the festival.
