VietinBank boss becomes Chief of Office of State Bank

(NLDO) – The State Bank has just announced and handed over the Governor's decisions on the appointment of a series of senior personnel.

On the evening of December 18, VietinBank announced a change in the position of Deputy General Director. Accordingly, the Board of Directors of this bank has decided to remove Mr. Nguyen Dinh Vinh from the position of Deputy General Director.

The reason for the dismissal is to allow Mr. Nguyen Dinh Vinh to hold the position of Chief of Office of the State Bank.

On the same day, the State Bank also held a ceremony to announce and hand over the decisions of the Governor of the State Bank on the appointment of the Director of the Department of Forecasting and Statistics; Chief of the Office of the State Bank; Chairman of the Board of Management of the National Credit Information Center of Vietnam (CIC); Deputy General Director of CIC and assignment of the Acting General Director of CIC.

Accordingly, the State Bank appointed Mr. Nguyen Phi Lan, Deputy Director of the Department of Forecasting and Statistics, to hold the position of Director of the Department of Forecasting and Statistics.

Governor Nguyen Thi Hong and Deputy Governor Pham Tien Dung congratulate Mr. Nguyen Dinh Vinh, new Chief of Office of the State Bank.

Appointing Mr. Nguyen Dinh Vinh as Chief of Office; appointing Mr. Cao Van Binh, Member of the Board of Management, General Director of CIC, to the position of Chairman of the CIC Management Board.

The State Bank also accepted and appointed Mr. Tran Trung Dung, General Director of OceanBank, to the position of Deputy General Director and assigned him the position of Acting General Director of CIC.
