According to this leader, the parties have planned to inspect, peel off the asphalt surface of the subsidence area, use ultrasound to determine the exact cause, then propose remedial measures, and report specifically to the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province.
Previously, people reported that the bridge surface at this intersection showed signs of large subsidence, worried about the potential risk of insecurity, and doubted the quality of the project when it had only been put into use for a short time.
According to the reporter's records, the subsidence occurred in the roundabout, opposite the N4 branch under construction of the project. The subsidence was nearly 5m long with some areas sinking 3-5cm deep, exposing the pavement structure.

The Ngoc Hoi Intersection Project has a total capital of over VND1,350 billion, of which the Build-Transfer (BT) contract of the project is over VND1,250 billion, with Phuc Son Group as the investor. This is one of the important traffic projects of Khanh Hoa province, aiming to completely solve the problem of traffic congestion in Nha Trang city.
The scale of the project to build a two-level interchange over the North-South railway, including the ground level for branches that do not intersect with the railway and the first-level overpass is an elevated roundabout with branches: the East branch (N1) and the West branch (N3) connecting to October 23rd Street, the South branch (N2) and the North branch (N4) connecting to the Ring Road 2 project.
The Ngoc Hoi intersection project started in the fourth quarter of 2017, and has only been completed and put into operation for branches N1, N2, N3, and the roundabout since October 2022. The N4 branch and the pedestrian bridge over the railway are still under construction. Since February 2024, due to the prosecution of the leader of Phuc Son Group, the Ngoc Hoi intersection project has been suspended to serve the investigation.
