In mid-May, the Standing Committee of the Phu Hoa Commune Party Committee selected the Party Building Committee Branch to hold a model branch meeting and model thematic discussion. This is considered a practical solution to improve the quality of branch meetings throughout the entire Party organization.

The highlight of the conference was the thematic session on the topic "Party members taking the lead in learning digital skills." The session frankly acknowledged the current state of technology application in the locality and proposed specific solutions to help party members proactively adapt to the digital environment, gradually digitize party member records, innovate document management and archiving, and apply technology to serve the people.

With 801 party members in the entire commune's Party Committee, improving digital skills has been identified as a necessary requirement in the current digital transformation process. At the model meeting, technology was put into practical application. Party member attendance was taken directly and monitored using the "Electronic Party Member Handbook" application; meeting minutes were created electronically; and discussion points were summarized on a digital platform. This approach contributes to linking Party work with modernization requirements and improving the efficiency of management and administration.

Following the practical session, the conference held a debriefing session with a spirit of frankness and responsibility. Many opinions focused on exchanging ideas about skills in conducting Party branch meetings, methods for initiating discussions, managing Party members, and improving the quality of thematic meetings.

According to Huynh Cong Truong, Deputy Secretary of the Phu Hoa Commune Party Committee, the quality of Party branch activities in the area has seen many positive changes recently. Many Party branches maintain regular meetings with content linked to the political tasks of their agencies and units; at the same time, they effectively integrate the study and emulation of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style.

However, according to Mr. Truong, in light of the new requirements in operating the two-tiered local government model, the quality of Party branch meetings still has limitations. Some Party committees and members have not fully understood the position and role of Party branch meetings. In some places, the preparation of content is still superficial, and the selection of topics is still uncertain. Given this reality, organizing model Party branch meetings and model topics is considered an effective and highly directional approach. “It is noteworthy that the conference did not stop at ‘showing off,’ but truly became a forum for exchanging experiences, resolving difficulties, and unifying methods of organizing meetings throughout the Party committee. Through this, Party branches can clearly see existing shortcomings to promptly rectify them, while also learning good and creative ways to improve the quality of meetings at the grassroots level,” said the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Phu Hoa Commune Party Committee.

In the coming period, the Phu Hoa Commune Party Committee will continue to innovate the content and form of its activities. Simultaneously, it will improve the quality of thematic meetings; promote the application of information technology and digital transformation in Party work; and effectively utilize the "Electronic Party Member Handbook," contributing to building an increasingly clean and strong grassroots Party organization.
