Students of 10 US universities have the highest income after graduation

A recent statistic was conducted by the Pew Research Center, a unit specializing in analyzing demographic trends in the US, and PayScale, a company specializing in providing data and salary management software in the US.

According to statistics, young men who graduated from college in the US will have an average income of $77,000 in 2023. Meanwhile, young men who only graduated from high school will have an average income of about $45,000 in 2023.

Female college graduates will earn an average of $65,000 in 2023, while young women without a college degree will earn around $36,000.

Still, for young people with the same college degree in the same major, they still have different salaries, depending on the school they attended.

PayScale analyzed the degree and work history data of more than 3 million young Americans who graduated from nearly 1,500 colleges and universities. In general, prestigious universities with STEM ( Science , Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) training programs are the ones with students achieving the highest income after graduation.

Also from this survey, PayScale company said that petroleum engineering personnel are the group of personnel with the highest salary in the US labor market.

Students studying this major after 10 years of work experience can achieve an average income of up to 212,000 USD/year.
