The reason is that current medical schools lack practical facilities for students. Students only learn theory, do not have an environment for practical experience, and do not have the opportunity to approach patients.
For the above reasons, creating a practical environment for medical students is urgent to improve training quality and meet the growing health care needs of the community.
The Board of Directors of Thu Dau Mot University visited the facilities of Van Phuc City Hospital
At present, the School - Institute model is one of the advanced models in medical training for students to both study theory and experience practice to become good doctors.
According to Dr. Dao Canh Tuat, through the cooperation program, students of Thu Dau Mot University will learn, practice, and receive professional guidance from the medical team of Van Phuc City Hospital. Thereby helping them to be better prepared before officially entering the medical profession.
In addition, the two units will also promote joint research projects, contributing to the development of new and effective medical solutions, aiming to improve the quality of comprehensive health care for the people.
"The purpose of this cooperation is for Van Phuc City Hospital to become a practice facility of Thu Dau Mot University," said Dr. Dao Canh Tuat.
Van Phuc City Hospital, formerly An Binh General Clinic, was established in 1998 in Binh Duong . The unit is one of the first private medical clinics in Vietnam to apply health insurance examination.
Van Phuc City Hospital officially opened on June 8, located on roads 5, 10, 11 in Van Phuc 1 area - Van Phuc urban area, Hiep Binh Phuoc ward, Thu Duc city.
Van Phuc City Hospital currently has 350 beds with 14 specialties, focusing on key areas such as general surgery, spinal neurology, and orthopedics.
