Department of Industry and Trade launched Tet tree planting

On the afternoon of February 29, the Department of Industry and Trade organized the launching ceremony of "Tet tree planting to forever remember Uncle Ho" in the Spring of Giap Thin 2024 at Dong Huong Industrial Cluster, Kim Son District. Comrade Nguyen Cao Son, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee attended the launching ceremony.

Responding to the tree planting campaign, up to now, infrastructure investors of industrial clusters (ICs) in the province have planted nearly 26 hectares (reaching 67% of the total area for planting trees), the remaining area that infrastructure investors must plant is 15.6 hectares. Some ICs that have come into operation have a fairly high percentage of trees (over 70%); besides, some newly put into operation ICs have a low percentage of planted trees such as Dong Huong GD2 IC with nearly 37%...

In order to spread the movement of planting trees to beautify the landscape of the unit and residence, in this period, the infrastructure investors and workers of Dong Huong Industrial Park pioneered the movement of planting new trees, caring for and protecting trees in the industrial parks. In particular, they launched the planting of over 5,000 trees, mainly acacia and mahogany trees.

Immediately after the ceremony, delegates, leaders and employees of the enterprises participated in planting trees on the traffic routes and campus of Dong Huong Industrial Park.
