Number of businesses entering the market in Hai Duong increases

The high number of businesses entering and re-entering the market shows confidence in the province's economic development prospects and investment environment.

According to the Department of Finance, from the beginning of the year to June 12, the whole province had 1,034 newly established enterprises, an increase of 25% over the same period last year with a total registered capital of over VND8,756 billion.

In May alone, 311 new businesses entered the market. This is also the month with the highest number of newly established businesses since the beginning of the year.

Also during the same period, the province had 339 businesses re-registering to operate, an increase of 32% over the same period. On average, 67.8 businesses re-entered the market each month.

The high number of enterprises entering and re-entering the market shows that the prospects for economic recovery and growth of Hai Duong in particular and Vietnam in general are creating confidence for investors. Along with that, the province's policies to encourage and support start-up businesses; simplify administrative procedures... have been and are being effective, creating a premise for businesses to establish and develop.

Up to now, the whole province has about 21,000 enterprises, with total registered capital of over 250,000 billion VND.

In 2025, Hai Duong strives to increase the number of newly established enterprises by 10% compared to 2024. In 2024, the whole province will have 2,000 newly established enterprises, an increase of 6.2% compared to 2023.
