Hai Phong Department of Education and Training strengthens training on applying artificial intelligence in teaching and learning activities

The training conference was organized with 01 session for junior high school and 01 session for high school in the form of online connection between the central bridge located at the Department of Education and Training with nearly 600 bridges at educational institutions in the city. Participating in the training were representatives of the Department's leaders, leaders, specialists of the Secondary Education Department along with representatives of leaders and all teachers from junior high schools, high schools and general schools with many levels.

This is an activity chaired by the Department of Secondary Education - Department of Education and Training to implementsecondary education tasks for the 2025-2026 school yearand to specify guidelines of the Ministry of Education and Training on the implementation of the digital competency framework. The introduction of AI into education has many important meanings, contributing to improving the efficiency and personalization of learning. AI can help teachers analyze students' learning data to provide appropriate learning paths, create interactive lectures and support students to learn more effectively. This is an important step in building a modern learning environment, meeting the requirements of the 4.0 industrial revolution. The applicationof technology, especially AI in teaching and educational management is an inevitable trend, contributing to improving quality and meeting the requirements of developing high-quality human resources. .

At the training conference, the reporter focused on two main contents: applying AI in teaching and testing, evaluation and skills in designing E-learning lessons . Thereby, equippingthe teaching staff with the necessary knowledge and skills to take advantage of technology and improve teaching quality.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the training conference, Ms. Pham Thi Thu Ha - Head of the Secondary Education Department affirmed that this is an opportunity for teachers to acquire knowledge, get acquainted with modern tools, and at the same time exchange and learn from each other to overcome difficulties in the process of applying technology to teaching. These are contents of strategic significance in innovating teaching methods, contributing to improving educational effectiveness in the digital transformation period . The Department of Education and Training will always create favorable conditions for teachers to promote their capacity, contributing to building the city's education system to be increasingly strong and modern, meeting the requirements of fundamental and comprehensive innovation.

After the training session,the Department of Education and Training requested schools to actively organize for teachers to study, self -train, and research documents to build quality E-learning lectures, effectively serving students' self-study and research. These lectures must closely follow the teaching plan, ensuring accuracy, science and suitability for students. The lectures must clearly state learning objectives, have a system of questions, exercises, learning situations, summaries and self-study instructions. Technically, the lectures are built on a lecture management platform. E-Learning must combine multimedia (text, images, audio, video ) and increase interactivity. The Department of Education and Training will organize evaluation and grading of lectures to evaluate the effectiveness of digital transformation in teaching and learning.

Training on the application of artificial intelligence in teaching and learning activities is a strategic step, affirming the determination to improve the digital capacity of the teaching staff, towards an increasingly strong and modern education system in Hai Phong.
