The working session with the People's Committee of Mang Den commune aimed to grasp the implementation of socio-economic development tasks, national security and defense in the area (according to Decision No. 518/QD-UBND dated July 31, 2025 of the People's Committee of Quang Ngai province); evaluate the work of building digital government in ensuring infrastructure and operating equipment of key information systems at the People's Committee and the Public Administration Service Center at the commune level to ensure infrastructure and resources to serve the local government at 2 levels; the implementation of plans, decisions, and directives of the province on science, technology and innovation (S&T) in the commune.

Mang Den commune was established under Resolution No. 1677/NQ-UBTVQH15 dated June 16, 2025 of the National Assembly Standing Committee on the arrangement of commune-level administrative units of Quang Ngai province in 2025 on the basis of arranging the entire natural area and population size of Mang Den town, Mang Canh commune, Dak Tang commune and named Mang Den commune and located in the west of Quang Ngai province.

Mang Den commune has a total natural area of ​​39,692 hectares, with 25 villages and residential groups (21 villages and 4 residential groups). The current population size is 2,785 households with 8,725 people, of which ethnic minorities are 1,898 households, 6,260 people, accounting for 71.74%; poor households are 111 households, accounting for 3.99%, near-poor households are 236 households, accounting for 8.47% of the total number of households in the area.

According to the report, Mang Den Commune People's Committee has organized to disseminate and implement Resolution 57-NQ/TW to all cadres and civil servants. Established the Steering Committee on science and technology development, innovation, digital transformation and Project 06; developed the Plan of the Commune People's Committee to implement Resolution 57-NQ/TW, assigned tasks to each department, office, division, and unit under the Commune People's Committee; applied in administrative management: Applying VNPT -iOffice electronic document management software, connecting with the province and the central government; shared software of the province and the central government; supporting the application of greenhouse technology, hydroponics in growing vegetables, flowers, fruits and tubers in cold regions; piloting the traceability of agricultural products using QR codes for clean vegetable products; developing provincial-level OCOP products...

Mang Den commune is deeply aware of the role of science, technology, innovation and digital transformation in socio-economic development, so in the coming time, Mang Den commune hopes to be allocated funding to support the implementation of commune-level digital government in the period of 2025-2026; organize training on digital skills and digital transformation for commune officials and the Community Digital Transformation Team; support the commune in integrating land, population and resource databases into the digital government system; guide the implementation of science, technology and innovation models suitable to local conditions; invest in fiber optic internet infrastructure to 100% of villages, ensuring that remote areas are not "left behind"; send experts and technical staff to support the commune in digital transformation; guide the implementation of science, technology and innovation models suitable to local conditions; support experts, train, organize training courses, and train officials and people on the application of new technologies.
