Exchange and cooperation in scientific research, technology transfer and innovation.

On the morning of September 18, 2025, the Department of Science and Technology held a working session with Quy Nhon University and the South Central Coast Agricultural Science and Technology Institute to discuss cooperation in scientific research, technology transfer and innovation in Quang Ngai province.

The delegation of Quy Nhon University included Dr. Dinh Anh Tuan - Vice Principal of the school and the school's scientists; the South Central Coast Agricultural Science and Technology Institute had Dr. Ho Huy Cuong - Director and the institute's experts. Attending and working with the delegation were Dr. Phan Van Hieu - Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology of Quang Ngai province and specialized departments and centers under the Department.

At the meeting, representatives of Quy Nhon University and the South Central Coast Agricultural Science and Technology Institute presented a number of contents on scientific research, technology transfer and innovation such as: Evaluating genetic diversity and building a production linkage model for some typical medicinal plants of the Western Quang Ngai region; applying biotechnology in controlling post-harvest diseases on some typical fruits of the province; processing technology; tourism development; research on genetic diversity and solutions to serve the conservation of plant and animal varieties in Quang Ngai province; applying 4.0 technology to build a model of organic, smart rice cultivation adapting to climate change; building an Agricultural Information System of Quang Ngai province to serve the management and development of sustainable agriculture...
