Thanh Hoa Department of Construction conducted a field survey in 8 communes in Hoang Hoa district (old) to serve the planning implementation work in the province.

On October 13, 2025, the working group of Thanh Hoa Department of Construction led by Mr. Hoang Van Dong - Director of the Department, together with Thanh Hoa Institute of Planning and Architecture and People's Committees of the communes: Hoang Loc, Hoang Chau, Hoang Thanh, Hoang Hoa, Hoang Tien, Hoang Son, Hoang Giang, Hoang Phu conducted a field survey in 8 communes of Hoang Hoa district (old) to serve the work of urban and rural planning.

The activity aims to assess the current status of technical and social infrastructure, as a basis for completing the planning scheme, ensuring compliance with the orientation of urban and new rural development and the planning of the area after the administrative unit arrangement. Help to concretize the direction of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee on the orientation of synchronous, modern and sustainable urban and rural space development.

At the working session, through the survey, objective and comprehensive assessment of criteria (population, infrastructure, land fund...), potential, advantages, goals, development orientation; at the same time, analyzing the connection and connectivity between regions; strengths in industrial, service and tourism development of localities. The Director of the Department made assessments, analyses and pointed out orientations on planning options for each commune. In particular, determining which areas need to make general urban planning, which areas need to make general commune planning.

Accordingly, the opinions at the conference showed high consensus with the direction of the Department Director. Localities also demonstrated the initiative, sense of responsibility and high determination of the local authorities, in order to build a synchronous plan, suitable to the conditions of local socio -economic development.

Through the survey, the Delegation highly appreciated the coordination efforts of the commune authorities, and emphasized the need for planning to ensure practicality, synchronization and feasibility, contributing to promoting the development of urban - rural space in Thanh Hoa province in a green, sustainable and modern direction.
