On the Vietnamese side, the delegation of Cao Bang Provincial Department of Health was led by Mr. Trieu Thanh Son, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Deputy Director of the Department of Health; with members including leaders and experts from the Department of Organization and Personnel, Department of Social Protection and Children, Department of Food Safety and Hygiene, Center for Testing Drugs, Cosmetics, Food and Trung Khanh Medical Center.
On the side of Baise City, Guangxi (China), the delegation was led by Comrade Huang Taixue, Deputy Mayor of the People's Government of Baise City; also attending were Comrade Tan Ping, Director of the Market Supervision Administration of Baise City and experts in the fields of health and food safety from China.
On the morning of October 14, within the framework of the working program, the delegation of the Cao Bang Provincial Department of Health visited and surveyed the on-site processing of imported dried fruits of Quang Khang Food Company Limited, Tinh Tay City and surveyed the imported shrimp processing process under the Rural Revitalization Support Project at Bao Thanh Food Company Limited, Tinh Tay City. The survey contents aimed to learn about the quality management model, food safety control process, traceability and technology application in food processing at Chinese enterprises, thereby exchanging experiences and practical lessons for food safety management in the locality.

In the afternoon of the same day, at Truong Phong International Hotel, the Vietnam-China 2025 Cross-Border Food Safety Management and Supervision Cooperation Conference officially took place in a friendly and cooperative atmosphere, demonstrating the traditional friendship between the two localities sharing a common border. At the Conference, delegates from both sides exchanged and shared experiences in food safety management and supervision, food testing and traceability, and cross-border food risk control models.
At the Conference, representatives of the two sides signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the field of cross-border food safety management and supervision, creating a foundation for coordination activities, technical support, data sharing and implementing a more effective cross-border food inspection and supervision model in the coming time.
After completing the working program, the delegation of Cao Bang Provincial Department of Health visited the Ho Chi Minh Exhibition House with the Zhuang ethnic people in Tinh Tay City. Here, the two delegations of Vietnam and China took souvenir photos in front of the Exhibition House, a symbol of friendship and solidarity between the Vietnamese and Chinese peoples.

Delegates from the Department of Health of Cao Bang province and Bach Sac city said goodbye at Tra Linh international border gate after the conference on cooperation in food safety management and supervision across the Vietnam - China border in 2025.
At the end of the working trip, Comrade Trieu Thanh Son expressed his deep gratitude to the People's Government of Baise City, the Baise Market Supervision Administration and relevant units of the Chinese side for their warm welcome and thoughtful and effective organization of the Conference. He believed that the cooperation between the Cao Bang Provincial Department of Health and the Baise City Market Supervision Administration would develop more and more sustainably, contributing positively to ensuring food safety, protecting the health of the people of the two countries and strengthening the solidarity and friendship between Vietnam and China.
