After a field trip to compose with the Authors' Association - Ho Chi Minh City Theater Association, playwright Dang Minh said he had completed the reformed opera script "Lotus Soul", written about Mr. Pho Bang Nguyen Sinh Sac - father of President Ho Chi Minh .

"He devoted all his life to saving the country and the people with his talent and virtue. He was respected, loved, and protected by the people like a blood relative. During the two sacred resistance wars of the nation, the people of Dong Thap - the land of the Red Lotus - bravely and steadfastly fought directly against the enemy day and night to protect his grave until the day of national reunification. I chose a very new perspective to write about the spirit of solidarity of the army and people of Dong Thap in particular and the South in the struggle for national liberation, promoting the spirit of learning from the "Lotus Soul" of the Vice-Chancellor" - author Dang Minh shared.

Playwright Dang Minh graduated from the University of Theatre and Cinema in Ho Chi Minh City. He is an editor and director of programs for Tay Ninh Radio and Television. He has been awarded gold medals at national professional theatre festivals with the scripts: "The pain of years", "Love without borders", "The love story of that time", "Going through the storm", "Love story of two dynasties", "Storm of one dynasty".

Originally a junior high school teacher of literature, history and geography, he quickly approached and wrote reformed opera scripts.
